Overall, I have been very satisfied with my experience with We Care. Service technicians have been knowledgeable, professional, and honest. Communication is good. My only complaints, and they are very small complaints, is that (a) the appointment windows are too wide and (b) the cost of refrigerant ($110/lb as of summer 2023). I don't know what refrigerant costs We Care so maybe this is typical. I had several services calls and repairs by We Care during the summers of 2022 and 2023. 2022 service - Early in the summer of 2022 my air conditioner was not cooling properly. I was able to quickly coordinate a service call with We Care. It was determined that I had a leaky Schrader valve on the condenser. The service technician was able to get the part within a day, return to repair, and refill with refrigerant. The repair worked for about 1 month until the AC started having problems reaching the set point. The same technician returned and determined that I had a leaking evaporator coil which needes to be replaced. The part was sourced fairly quickly, so the service technician returned to install and again top off my refrigerant. Overall, it was 3 to 4 service calls over that summer. The AC worked for the rest of the summer. 2023 service - Again early in the summer of 2023, my home AC struggled to cool properly. I coordinated a service call with We Care. A different service technician came this time and noted low refrigerant. This technician also checked for leaks and noted a leaky fitting on the evaporator coil. Upon closer inspection, he noted that the technician from the year before who installed the evaporator coil had cross-threaded the threads, which led to the small leak. He noted a couple of other installation errors from the previous technician. The repair was not as simple as replacing the fitting but replacing the whole evaporator coil again. Fortunately, because the part was still under warranty and the leak was due to the previous technicians installation errors, there was no charge for any of the service this summer. No cost for the refrigerant, and no cost for the parts and labor. I sincerely appreciate this technician's honesty and professionalism, instead of him trying to cover up and lie about the source of the problem. This is NOT what I expected from a for-profit company. We will see how the summer of 2024 goes, but I will continue to use We Care. 3 stars for service in 2022; 5 stars for service in 2023.

We attempt to get to our first call at 8;00 am and depending on how long that call takes sets the rest of the day for that particular technician. We attempt to remain in contact with our clients to keep them up to date with delays or changes, we understand that time is a valuable possession you will never gain back. I certainly share your concern about any misdiagnosis, but I am happy that we got it right for you at no additional cost.
