We had an outstanding experience all thanks to Derron. He was so patient and explained everything so well with all the questions I had. He made sure that everything could fit in our budget very well. He also cleaned up after his work and worked very sufficiently around my young children. Thank you so very much Derron. As for Sun Kool as a whole, very great company to go with. Very affordable and come out very quickly if need of assistance. Would reach out again!

Words cannot describe how great Derron was. He communicated through the whole process, fixed our problem, and assisted us even with a strict budget. Derron went above and beyond and I am glad to say that I will be a customer that will be back and will be signing up for the yearly service.

Our a/c has been out since Sunday. Naturally I looked at everything that I knew of to see if it was anything that I could fix myself. Once I ran down my list and saw that nothing worked I called for help. Sun Kool was not the company, we went with someone that had serviced our unit before. Being that it was Sunday afternoon the tech informed me that I’d be charged overtime which wasn’t the problem. It was that when he went in the crawl space to look at the handler I think he was overwhelmed. He suggested that I schedule an appoint for the following day so I wouldn’t be charged the OT rate. A friend then referred a different company which came monday. That tech suggested that we purchase window units lol. I wasn’t giving up! Finally Sun Kool was suggested and Derron came out today. He was thorough, knowledgeable, and not afraid to tackle this job. He was very transparent and let me know that he would change the transformer but I’d be lucky if it worked. I said if you’re up to it, go ahead. Not only did he change the part but he found out why it blew in the first place and he fixed that issue as well. I had a feeling this wasn’t going to be an easy job but my God knew what he was doing when he sent this gentleman! Idk about the rest of the techs, however when it comes to my experience with Derron- I’d recommend him 10,000%!!! He didn’t try to swindle me and sell me a bunch of crap that we didn’t need and most importantly, he took his time in tracking down the problem. Many many many thanks!!!

3 year old Lennox furnace went out. $99 trip charge. Circuit board bad, part covered under warranty. Back 5 days latter to install. Took 25 minutes, then charged $249 labor! That’s $498 an hour for labor!!!! No problem with the techs that came out. Su Kool installs all HVAC in OTOW. Never thought they would rip you off. Will try to inform other residents. Will never use them again. My advice is find out hourly charge before they come out. Update from yesterday: I asked for a copy of invoice for the part for my records. They refused to give it to me. Why are they hiding the part information. Is it not my right to have a copy of the invoice for the part they allegedly installed. Seems extremely shady.

Ryan and Don installed my hvac system and did a wonderful job, they were clean, fast and did an excellent job. Sunkool should be proud to have these young men as employees. I have been a customer of Sunkool for 22 years and would not use any other company, they are the best. Let me start by adding that I am a professional engineer and have been in the HVAC business for over 40 years. My 18 year old residential AC is at the end of its useful life. I performed my due diligence in obtaining multiple proposals for AC unit replacement. My efforts were rewarded in meeting George Donaldson (field superintendent & consultant) from Sun Kool Air Conditioning. George met with me this AM and we discussed options and pricing. By the end of day I was able to review all the proposals and conclude that SunKool was my best option. George returned after hours and helped us to get the existing AC system back in service while we are waiting for the replacement unit. Yes I have placed the replacement unit order! George was very professional and I am looking forward to the completion of our project (unit replacement) and will update my comments at conclusion. I anticipate complete success. My Technician today, Curtis Johnson, was early, prepared and proficient in dealing with my repair issue. Just from my description of the blower issue he went right to the issue with minimum troubleshooting due to his knowledge of the system. With in a short window, the blower was reinstalled and the thermostat configured for me. Great job Curtis..
