I highly recommend SOS Mechanical to anyone needing HVAC service. I found them to be completely honest. SOS Mechanical was very responsive to my phone messages and phone calls. They were very good about keeping me posted on when they should be on their way and let me know right before they arrived. SOS Mechanical did their best to give me the facts about my existing equipment. They took the time to talk to me about the technical aspects of my existing equipment and operation and the warranty they offered, helped me to make an informed decision. I am very picky about the work that anyone does for me! Their response time was awesome and the quality of their work was great. After replacing my entire HVAC unit, the installation was spotless and they took the time to check everything out VERY carefully before they left our house. Their work makes me proud to show others. Especially the ones that know just how picky I am about the work I do myself.

Great Service and advise! Chris, the technician was throughly competent and very polite. I also spoke with Mark in sales. He was also polite and very competent! I will use SOS in the future and also recommend them without hesitation!

I had AC emergency this weekend Bo R. With SOS came to my rescue. I was lucky it was only a compastitor and was an easy fix. He didn't try and sell me a new unit but he did tell me to start thinking about it. He understood that things are tight for everyone and that making a person buy an expensive unit was financially impossible. Thanks for taking good care of me in a difficult time.

A Mitsubishi mini-split installed by another company in an upstairs room would not hold the selected temperature. It had been looked at previously twice but no one could find the problem. The SOS technician determined that the unit was working perfectly but was located too near an upright freezer whose warm air discharge was close to the A/C's temperature sensor. Took him less than half an hour; personable, well-spoken fellow who knew to look outside the box, in this case for another box! Good show.

SOS was great! Very timely and made the process easy as our A/C blew. Need to get a new system and walked us through all options. Kept the area clean and worked quickly while doing all the work. Would highly recommend them for any work.

I’ve received exceptional service, on multiple occasions and at multiple locations, from SOS Mechanical. From routine servicing to complete system replacement, SOS is simply a straightforward and fair company. My most recent experience, set up through Allison, was pleasant, professional and competitively priced. Her proficiency at her job is amazing, and I do not hesitate to recommend SOS Mechanical to family and friends.

I have been working with this company for a while, and unfortunately, after trying other companies last week, I realized how much they were overcharging me for all past services. I have a company with many stores in Austin. I was rarely in the store when they fixed our units. For the last service, I was there and was shocked by how they didn't care or answer your questions. After the technician was done working on the unit, he just said (it SHOULD be okay for now). After he left, it was a big mess. Both units stopped working, and I had to deal with a leak. They came back after 2-3 days, and after five days, they said you needed an entirely new unit for 33k. When I explained to the lady on the phone that it was expensive to make this investment now, she said, "Well, good luck." I asked to speak to her manager but am still waiting for a callback. The almost $400 I paid them for fixing nothing was not refundable. I called another company they charged me $250. It has been a week, and my unit works wonderfully. They even fixed the leak and told me it was an easy fix. From my experience of running many stores and businesses, I can tell you that they are just looking for quick money. Because of them, I had to shut down my store for several days. Please beware. They will not care about what your problem is they will just offer you the most expensive solution.

I ordered the mini-split package for my garage, so I could workout due to gyms being closed during COVID-19. Allison, GM was very informative throughout the process...This family business really takes care of their customers and makes you feel like family. I am literally shocked at how good this setup is working. Even without putting insulation in the walls and ceiling, I’m still able to get down to 78 degrees during the hottest parts of the day (95+ degrees outside temp.). My neighbor even stopped by to check out the setup, since he is always working in his garage shop.
