Jason and his crew are top notch. They are professional and effective. Courteous and respectful. They get the job done, really done. We've been with them for eight years, and will continue. They honor their agreements.

Scammers!! They sold us a lemon frididgeair hear pump. Nothing but problems. Breaks every year. Two compressors and it still doesn’t work. And they only show up for 50% of the appointments. I’ve given up and will never use them again.

I used to think this the finest A/C service in Tucson, but I feel Advanced Air Tropics went downhill in service quality over this past year. For one thing, a lot of the competent service people left and seems like they were replaced by cheaper workers. The office seems pretty disorganized. I have a subscription for seasonal AC and heating maintenance checks. I was confirmed for my regular paid for maintenance check and the day before was confirmed for 8:15am. Then the following morning I got a text message confirming me for December 2nd which is more than 6 months from now. I called the office and the representative seemed confused and I asked her if a technician was on their way and if she could check when they were coming. She was not able to help me and assured me I’m the first person they have scheduled for the day. Two technicians arrived an hour and a half later. One of the technicians seemed confused and even his partner admitted to me that the guy is clueless. Just getting a ladder to get to the roof of my house took more time than it should have. It turned out I need a new ac unit which is reasonable given that it’s more than 20 years old and the more competent technician showed me pictures. I wanted an estimate of how much it would cost to install a new ac. The owner called me and I gave him my email. Two days later I still did not get an estimate emailed to me. The owner and I played some phone tag but overall he was very hard to reach and did not send me my estimate. After all this I noticed a red flag. I lost confidence in this business and am going to look elsewhere for my heating and cooling needs.

Beyond disappointed with this company. I have been using AirTropics for a few years and never had any problems with them. Good communication, good service. When the techs would come out, there was one that would even take the time to show me a few things, explain different things to me, would show me what the problem was, if any. In September of 2023, that all changed. A new tech came out, didn’t even try to explain what was wrong, just said I had a leak that needed to be fixed. He said they would order the parts and call by that Friday to schedule the install. He also advised that all the parts and labor were still under warranty. Then charged the full price for parts and labor. He said in order to place the order for the parts, he needed half the money then. So, trusting them before looking (I know, my bad), I paid them $900, half of the total price. He left, they cashed the check, never called, never came back. I have called, emailed and texted multiple times. I heard back once, back in November 2023 from Jason. I asked him for a break down of the price due to the total being way more than it should be, I asked what the status was on the parts that were supposed to be ordered. He advised the order was placed and the parts should have been there by then. Then said he would email me the breakdown and call back the next day to schedule the appointment. Never got the breakdown, and here we are, April 2024, and no more communication. Multiple calls, multiple emails. Radio silence. For 6 months. I am at a complete loss.

Air Tropics with Jason and crew did a very professional job and the parts cost was far below the competitors. The maintenance plan covered the coil cleaning which another company would bilk us for $450! Every detail was above and beyond. While other companies just let wires hang loose, Jason wrapped them so they would not chafe.

We rely on the experts at Air Tropics, LLC to provide annual inspection and preventative maintenance of our heating and air conditioning systems. To that end, they are the professionals I can rely on, and I appreciate their technical competency, quality work and friendly service.

Disappointing. I had Air Tropics install a new AC unit at our house several years ago and had a great experience with them. Based on that I recommended them to my family member who wants to proactively replace an AC unit. They did not show for the scheduled appointment and did not call. When we reached out, neither the receptionist nor tech answered the calls. We eventually reached the receptionist who said she would look into it and we never heard anything back. Tried one last time to follow up and see if we could reschedule by talking to same receptionist. Once again she said she'd set something up and call back and never did. No shortage of AC companies in town...will definitely go somewhere else where they seem interested in selling and installing a new unit.

I’m happy for everyone else who has seemingly gotten good service out of Air Tropics, but, I can’t say the same for me and my family. We spent $580 on a 3 year plan with them, to have them come twice a year to check on the heating and cooling unit and work on it if there is any work that needs to be done to it. Someone was supposed to arrive on the 14th of November, to check out our furnace unit and do a simple tuneup (if needed) and confirm all was well with the unit. However, we have not been able to reach out to Air Tropics whatsoever. Whenever we call, we get a message from the operator saying that the phone line is no longer in service. I’ve tried emailing them and to no avail either. There has been 0 attempts at communicating back with us and at this point, I’ve already lost trust in their professionalism. I’m sorry to say, but Air Tropics just ain’t it, chief. If we had any semblance of communication with them, if we heard so much as a peep out of them, letting us know that everything is okay or something is delaying them from getting back to us, that’s one thing. But it’s been radio silence with them. So, as of now, we have no choice but to pay them a visit in person and either ask for our $580 back or finally get them into gear and give us some service that was promised to us since back in early August. And if we can’t get either, then, we will have more than just a lack of communication and lack of service problem on our hands. Have a fantastic day!

Mr or Mrs Protostar Mirage, First off my sincerrest of apologies....I'm truly sorry for your experience with us recently. The last couple of weeks have been nightmares around here....We've had multiple guys including myself out with Covid all over again. We basically had our entire business package that includes our phones and internet sevices go down on us with no fault of our own. It took them almost 2 weeks and multiple trips to diagnose problems, order parts, and get everything including all new wiring, modems, boxes, etc. installed and working properly. Once services were back up and running we lost any and all messages that were received so forgive me but that is why we did not contact you back. I am going to PM you my direct line and hopefully you can give me a call asap so that I can get out there and get you taken care of. We have built our reputation in the business by giving our customers the old fashion service with a smile they deserve and by being very punctual about every phase of our business.
