I’ve had Matt come out twice to work on my sprinkler system. Both times I felt he has gone above and beyond what I expected, spending lots of time and effort to help figure out what is going on with my system. When lush green’s prices for replacement parts seemed a little high for me, a graduate student, Matt went out of his way to try and both find cheaper parts and come up with creative solutions that only cost him the time to discover them. He has provided one of the best customer services I have ever had with any service, communicating openly, honestly, and frequently to help me understand what was going on. I would 10/10 recommend Matt to come and fix your irrigation system, you will not be disappointed but totally satisfied!!!

I'm revising my previous 5 star review for Kristin P from two weeks ago on May 18th 2023. The liquid fertilizer and other weed deterrent chemicals (2-4D and dicamba) she used in our back yard at that time is stressing/killing the foliage on trees and bushes in the yard. See photos included with this revised review. She over sprayed outside the turf area and concrete borders which certainly contributed to the damaged plants. Not sure exactly what other chemicals were used in the application. The overspray of dicamba and 2-4D on trees and other foliage is however a well documented hazard. Dicamba, in particular, is a potent and volatile herbicide. We are certainly not happy with the results in the back yard or the damage to trees and foliage outside the yard area. We registered an email complaint with Lushgreen as a result. 6-2-23 update: Kristin P and owner Eric visited to look over the issues in the back yard. They responded quickly and professionally upon receiving our email complaint. Trimmed away the damaged foliage around the yard. They are looking into immediate solutions for the grass and tree damage issues noted in the photos. Kristin is a good person and typically does a great job. Mistakes happen and she stepped right up and owned this one. We appreciate that very much as well as the quick response to our concerns! 8-7-23 update: June 6th, Lush Green took foliage samples from our Hackberry tree to have them analyzed in order to determine what damaged the tree. We also talked about re-seeding or over seeding the back yard with grass seed. I followed up with them via email on June 30th asking about the analysis results and over seeding the yard. NO RESPONSE TO DATE. I also sent a follow up text inquiry to Kristin P on July 11th. NO RESPONSE FROM HER EITHER. They have not been out to our property for any service calls since 6-21-23 when a lawn aeration was completed. We will not use their services again.
The absolute worst experience I've ever had with Lawn Care! They have total disregard for any personal property while they do their job they show up at their leisure, and have no form of communication whatsoever will not return phone calls and cannot follow directions. I hope this review saves someone else the headache of doing business with this company because they are absolutely terrible!
Update - Gave Lush Green another chance and Kristen was fantastic after the 1st application. Glad I gave them another chance. I used Lush Green for the previous 3 years. Last year was a horrible experience with them. they combined treatments because they didn't have enough help. Was told they fixed all their internal issues and they were going to send out a quote for 2020, never received it - clearly they have communication issues. It is hard to keep customers when you do not follow through. The tech that did come out the last few years was great - hence the 2 stars on the review.

I appreciate your using us the past three years and that the technician that serviced your property was great. I am sorry that we did not provide a quote for 2020 nor have we provided ANY services in 2020. If you requested a quote, then it should have been provided and we could have sent one of our great technicians to your property. As most of us know this spring was an unprecedented time for our country and we had to make modifications like most companies. Our Office Manager and support staff still are not working from the office and this absolutely does not improve communication. I wish you would have emailed or called us again so that we could have had another chance to follow up and get you a quote for 2020. I am surprised to receive this review many months into a new year after not having provided any service to your property this year. I would like to also address the combined treatments- there are times throughout a season when it makes sense to combine applications, for instance, a fertilization and a broadleaf weed control. I do understand that there is sometimes confusion understanding that a multi-step (5-7) weed control and fertilization package does not necessarily correlate to the number of times a technician may be at a property. The “steps” are the applications that are made and not the number of site visits. Update: I'm sorry that you may not have received the quote for 2020- but our system shows that it was successfully delivered 2/19/2020 at 11:18 AM. This is the same date as a note was placed in the system from the Office Mgr. regarding taking your call.
Lush Green Landscapes takes care of the commercial property I manage. The employee Darrel Harris is outstanding. He goes above and beyond any lawn care worker I've ever had in my 13 years managing this property. He truly cares about what he is doing and takes great pride in his work. He is a huge asset to this company. LGL is very reasonably priced and their work is far better than higher priced companies I have used in the past. GREAT JOB TEAM!!
I love this service, very professional and straight forward, explained everything, I can't say enough good things about Matt S.
