Chandler's Roofing

I called to have someone come look at a leak in our bedroom. They said if it’s not an emergency I have to wait until 2 weeks and if it is an emergency that I’ll probably wait a couple days plus the emergency visit charge $399 just to assess the damage to THEN also estimate a cost to repair. Do not recommend working with a company that is not straight to the point.

Chandler's Roofing has a reputation for doing good work and charging a hefty price. But if you have an older house BEWARE of a nasty contract item that covers the removal of more than one layer of existing roofing materials. First of all, insist that Chandler (and any other competing roofing company) determine and report to you how many layers of shingles cover your house/garage. When you receive your official contract from Chandler, you will see that Item 1.5 stipulates that one layer of existing roofing material is included in the contract price and that each additional layer will be billed at $100/100 square feet. (That dollar rate may be higher.) Even for a modest house/garage, this could amount to several thousand dollars PER ADDITIONAL LAYER. In point of fact, each additional layer requires about 15%-20% more labor per layer than the previous layer, not 100%. Believe me, when an experienced worker gets up a head of steam, asphalt shingles just go flying, two or more layers at a time. If you want to go with Chandler, insist that the cost of removing the additional layers of roofing be separated out as a line item. Then, if you choose to, you should negotiate that price.

Two years ago, Chandler Roofing came in at a reasonable estimate and since the job was done, we haven’t had to worry about our roof that 4 other companies weren’t able to take care of prior to then. They showed up on time and completed the work quickly. When you know what you are doing, it always gets done right!

I've used Chandler's Roofing twice now - once for roof tile repair (about 8 years ago) and now recently for new rain gutter installation. They are very professional and do great work. High quality at a reasonable price. Highly recommend!

The only reason they received 4 instead of 5 stars is because they were so busy that I had to wait more than 2 months before they could do the job. But that was because they are good. Inspection was done by Ricardo quickly and expertly. He was the only roofer, and I called several, who suggested repair and not replacement of the whole roof. The price was right, and everybody I contacted was nice and helpful. I recommend them to everyone. A month ago Chandler did a perfect job replacing damaged wood on my apartment building. Ricardo made sure that everything went smooth and that the job was done correctly. The quality of work was outstanding including matching the color. I would give them 10 stars but you only have 5 available.

I scheduled an appointment for Chandler's Roofing to come out and give an estimate. Friendly and very knowledgeable, with the high volume of work that Chandler's Roofing has, my schedule date was a month out for installation of a new roof. During re-roofing, everyday they cleaned up and kept my home livable and always kept me informed of the progress. Chandler's roofing team was always polite and courteous. During the process of re-roofing, owner of Chandler's Roofing, Brian Hicks came by the house and talked with me regarding the progress. I would highly recommend Chandler's Roofing to anyone!

I hired Chandler’s Roofing for a patch and maintenance job on my house 1 week ago. If I could give this company six out of five stars, I would. The staff for Chandler’s Roofing went above and beyond job expectations. For starters, they were very friendly people and extremely personable. Their job performance was very timely and efficient. There was no mess leftover after the completion of the job. Some roofing companies often have a huge mess at the end of a job, whether it be debris, nails on the ground, tiles, etc... but not Chandler’s. The employees cleaned up everything to perfection. I would highly recommend this company to anybody. Not to mention, their price is very affordable. 5+ stars.

We had Chandler's Roofing install a new IB roof along with a solar system recently. They did a spectacular job from the presentation to the end of the installation. Our utility bill has decreased significantly as well. Professional from start to finish.
