I am very very disappointed with the customer service of ADT. Our home heat and smoke alarm showed a low battery. I called for assistance and the phone representative was of no help. I called and spoke to another rep who told me how to shut down that zone. I was told to purchase batteries and replace them myself. I explained that I am disabled form a stroke and my wife is disabled due to knee replacements. We are both senior citizens in our own home. They suggested That i find someone to do it for us. I called again and a lady scheduled a service call to replace the batteries. I purchased the batteries I was told to buy on amazon. The gentleman came out and replaced the batteries and told us the zone 6 and 7 were installed in the wrong locations. He corrected the installation error. I was then charged $63.00 to install the batteries which are located on the ceilings. This is how they treat senior citizens and disabled customers. If of this before you install ADT if you are unable to climb ladder or are disabled.

I had been a customer for over 5 years. I called to cancel service, they offered me several specials at that time taking over 50% off my bill. I was upset they didn't proactively reach out and offer me saving. I asked to cancel service, and they gave me December 7th, 2023 as a final date. Then I was billed for service on December 12th, 2023. When I called, they stated they didn't have notes about the prior conversation with an "account manager." They stated they needed to charge the next month at that time. I have an outstanding bill for 2 months because their staff didn't record the conversation I had. After several calls, they stated there is nothing they can do because their staff didn't add notes. I'm being charged due to their mistake.

We spent more than 5,000 and The system never worked properly. Worst of all, we couldn’t get customer service to properly record our complaints or fix anything. In fact , they have even been trying to charge us more than the contracted amount for early cancellation. They are the worst! Go to Vivint!!

ADT was good in the beginning but when it comes to service and parts replacement on their system it's ridiculous! I was passed around to 6 different people including but not limited to Eszar, Christina, Wilkin and Jasmine with absolutely no results and a two hour plus wait time! We were promised a new sensor magnet during our instill while covid was amoung us. Part was never mailed as promised, yes I consistently called to remind them. Now they want to charge us 160.00 for a small magnet that should have been included during initial install. We are looking for reliable alarm company if any one has recommendations! Sorry about the rant but good service is extremely hard to come by these days!!!

I call adt on the phone because my son forgot his house keys and came thru window we expected the alarm to go off because the senors that did not happen when I called the company they sent out a technician. The technician wanted to sell me new equipment. I’ve been with them since 2016. The technicians name is Rocko manginilli I I told him I don’t want to buy new equipment just change the batteries and make the equipment that I have work. He said it’s our job to sell u new equipment I told him I was under the assumption that it was your job to protect are house he said he was going to go get it new equipment since my equipment was not working He’ll be back in 15 minutes. He never came back. I overheard him talking to someone else on the phone and he said I’m gonna go to a different customers house that’s ready to spend more money again his name is rock manginelli out of the Largo office at 11401 Belcher Rd. to true Thursday I don’t care all they wanna do it so you know equipment I’ve been their customer since 2016 giving them $50 every single month. Their equipment doesn’t work instead of fixing it they want to sell me new equipment when I tomorrow wanna buy a new equipment I heard them say they’re gonna go to a new home or someone will give them money, please don’t get hustled by these guys

Robert Cunningham is giving me my first good sleep tonight! Got my system installed today and LOVE IT!!!! We went with the system and Google camera in the backyard! Richard Barrett did the install and was very kind and professional! He stayed until I was comfortable with all the settings! I think I will take his advice and get a camera on the front of the house too! I highly recommend this team!

I have been an ADT customer my entire adult life. I have utilized ADT in every home I have ever lived. The equipment and technology I had installed at my most recent home system from ADT has been nothing short of an absolute nightmare. First of all, their doorbell camera is a Google device so you need a second app, Google Home, on your phone, to even view it. And you need the ADT app to control your alarm if you do not want to use the keypad. The connection for Google Home is hit or miss and the customer support ADT provides for Google Home or the doorbell camera is terrible. Google Home is supposed to be able to control my smart locks and I cannot even get it to do that. After an unfortunate incident at my home, I came to realize that the camera equipment I purchased does not meet my needs. Their outdoor cameras do not offer 24/7 recording, the clips recorded are about 30 seconds and then the cameras have to reset for 30 seconds before they will record again. Good luck investigating any incidents that take place at your home with technology like that. If you want 24/7 recording, ADT attempted to sell me $1,400 worth of equipment to do it. Included in that was 1 camera. I signed an additional services rider on May 29 and after the unfortunate incident on May 30, I called in to cancel my ADT service on May 31 and return the equipment and have ADT honor their 6-month guarantee. I was told someone from my local office would reach out and no one ever did. I have been given the runaround ever since and no contact from a local office to assist me in cancelling and returning the equipment. When you call the main line for ADT, you get transferred to numerous departments and no one is able to resolve your issues. In an attempt to get a resolution, I have had to file a complaint with the BBB. Very disappointed in ADT.

I just had an ADT alarm system doorbell and camera installed.My salesman Michael Sanchez from the Largo Fl office was so professional and detailed on the entire process.Any questions I had I would text his personal phone and he no matter what day including weekends would always get right back to me.Thank you so much Mike for being a very professional and honest salesman.We are more than HAPPY!!!!!! I will definitely tell friends and family about are great experience. Teresa Kenyon
