Over the years, we've had our large valley oak trimmed several times, most recently by McMillan Tree Service. They did the best job by far, and at a reasonable price. We highly recommend them.

We are so pleased with the excellent service we received from Scott and all his crew at McMillan Tree Service! A great price, as the job was difficult since it was an extremely tall redwood tree in a narrow area between two houses with another house off to the side. The guys methodically removed the tree skirt (hey, I am a lay person who doesn’t know the terms), then did the precision cuts in safe increments. Their method ensured that the logs fell into a prescribed area to save our nearby old crepe myrtle and Rose of Sharon trees from collateral damage. He also miraculously avoided cracking the pavement when the heavy crane was in position. We can’t say the same for another local company we used who charged us extra for a platform to supposedly avoid cracks and they wrecked our walkway. Not so with McMillan’s crew … they ROCKED this job! And when on Day 2 the wind would have put the crew at risk, the owner called it off and notified us when they would return to ensure his crew was safe and our other trees weren’t at risk because they would lack the needed control of the falling cut wood. We were impressed at his safety measures. Also, they courteously cleaned up after themselves with blowing all of our back and front yard where they had the chipper and trailer stationed at times. It all looks great. We were sad to see the beautiful redwood go, but we’re thrilled at the job the entire crew did and the owner, Scott, was great to work with for sure. We 100% recommend McMillan Tree Service.

I have used McMillans Tree Service for several years and have always been very happy with the service and quality of work. Scott and crew go out of their way to be sure customer service and satisfaction is #1. This last weekend we had a tree split (hated to lose that tree) during the high winds and Scott dropped what he was doing (on a Sunday evening no less) and came to our rescue removing the remainder of the hazard tree so not to hit our house if it failed during the night. Having children and grandchildren in the house I was very concerned and Scott was able to set my mind at ease by removing the hazard safely in less than 1 hour!! Solid work and I will be calling Mcmillan Tree again.

Mike helped us remove a stump in the backyard. He was thorough in his work and friendly. The price was very reasonable compared to other quotes we had received. The entire process from scheduling to completion was smooth and easy. They will be our future go-to tree guys.

my folks had Mcmillian out to clear some fallen trees and trim some others and the crew did an amazing job. One employee was even skimming the pool to clean up! Things like this say a lot about a crew. Mcmillian is top notch professionals. Highly recommended.

Scott at McMillian Tree Services is the best!! 'If it grows in the ground, we can take care of it' is what he told me!! Scott ground two stumps and took out some big ugly oleander, he finished quickly and left the area clean like he was never there!!
