Cody's Tree Service provided a quick and high quality service in removing a diseased tree as well as limbing other trees for fire protection. The crew was professional, personable, safety minded and thorough from start to jobsite clean up.

My husband ordered a cord of pine and fir from Cody’s a few months ago. The entire cord was very moldy and infected with blue stain. I was out of the country at the time, my husband received the delivery and he’s not a forester, he had no idea the wood was unusable. I work in forestry, it’s completely unethical to be selling firewood in this condition. If you wait more than a year to harvest wood from dead standing trees and/or a burn scar, it’s questionable whether you’ll have usable firewood or not. After two years the wood is guaranteed unusable. Once the lumber has blue stain it’s valueless, the only purpose it serves is being burned as biomass at a mill. The fact that Cody’s is selling moldy firewood for people to burn inside their homes is very alarming. It’s not safe to bring moldy firewood inside your home to burn, mold spores are microscopic and can infect other parts of your home or make you sick. We had to pay a haul away service to come get the wood and take it away, as it is useless and toxic. I do not recommend buying wood from this company.

Met w Frank for the quote, he showed up on time, gave a detailed quote. They cut down several trees and a couple were very large pines a couple feet from our house. On the day of service the crew showed up on time, very organized and professional, so glad we chose his co! Thanks Frank!

Fire department told me I needed to remove the smaller pine trees on my property in SLT. Frank came out and gave me a good bid, on the spot, and we scheduled for a couple weeks later. I was out of town when they did the tree removal, but when I returned, the trees had been removed and hauled, cut down nice and close to the ground. They also did a great job cleaning up the site when the work was done, raking up all the sticks and twigs. Overall, super happy working with Cody's.

Codys was amazing. I had a very large tree within 10ft of my house that died. They came in with a crane, cut the tree in thirds & carefully removed all the dead foliage. I was very impressed that nothing was damaged, the tree was so close to power lines, cable wire, my house & a bunch of other trees. Andrew and the crew were all so professional and on time. The whole Cody team is fantastic. We had four trees we needed taken out. Frank gave us a quote and was luckily able to fit us in quickly. The team was so organized and professional the day of removal. I have to be honest, it's pretty amazing to watch them work. Trees were out in half a day and they helped coordinate for stump grinding too. Even their cleanup was top notch. Highly recommend Cody's.

Cody’s came to our property for hazard tree removal and creating defensible space. They provided a competitive bid, professional service, appropriate machinery, and good teamwork. They did a great job, allowed us to adjust the scope after a morning consultation and were finished by 130, all work done and the site cleaned up. Highly recommended.
