I had a great experience with Einar Johanson. First, they came highly recommended from my neighbor. Second, their quote process was not pushy in the slightest (I got a quote from another company for the job and they were much more "sales-y"). And finally, the installation crew was wonderful to work with. They were communicative, pleasant, and very respectful of our house/property. They took great care and although getting so many windows replaced is a very high impact scenario, the team made it as painless and pleasant as possible. I'm going to miss my buddies Ian, Mark, David, and Sage. 😅 Highly recommend EJ if you need new windows!

We chose Einar Johanson to install two large windows and replace another broken glass pane in the front of our craftsman home. I'm so impressed with their entire process and especially the results! Everyone we worked with was highly knowledgeable about windows and extremely professional. Ivan and Yarik did an efficient and excellent job with the installation and we couldn't be happier with the results! Would definitely use them again and highly recommend.

I needed all 19 windows in my house replaced and Einar Johanson was the best company for the job. They were straightforward, reasonably priced (against all competitors in the area), professional, communicative, flexible, and reliable. They worked with me to install the windows in 2 phases over a year and a half period and I am extremely pleased with the end result. They even quickly replaced a windowpane, free of charge, after they noticed a blemish in one of the windows (I did not notice). My neighbors compliment us on how good the windows look, and we immediately saw and felt the difference with the quality products they provided. I spoke to multiple window installers to include Champion and Anderson, but none of them made me feel comfortable with the choice (prices, questionable trust, odd sales pitches, etc.). After speaking with Einar staff I felt both comfortable and satisfied with my choice. I recommend them for your next window install or replacement. We choose Einar Johanson to replace 14 windows in our 1916 home. The windows were original wood single-pane, and I was sad to see them go, but we wanted to have more energy efficient windows that also do a better job of protecting against sound and open easier for ventilation. We decided to go with the Marvin Elevate windows, and did not disappoint as they keep to the character of our house. John did the initial quote and worked with me when I had questions on design to make sure some of the former pantry windows worked with in the space. Installation took three days. The crew, Ivan and Yarik, were super friendly, professional, and very respectful of our house and keeping everything clean. Thank you to the team for everything!

Einar Johanson installed nine windows, replacing 1941 wood-frame single pane windows for me about a month ago. The old windows had air leaks, poor energy efficiency, collected condensation, were inoperable, and noise was easy to hear through them. The new windows are air sealed, have great energy efficiency, reduce noise, and are easy to operate. My quality of life in the rooms where the windows were replaced is noticeably better. During the quoting process, John was helpful as we worked together to determine what the best windows for my situation would be and was happy to discuss different details in depth, including when I was curious about details like window coatings or spacer materials. Because of some unique requirements and constraints on my project, the process took longer than it usually does, but John was excellent throughout. The installation team was fantastic as well. They were able to replace nine windows quickly, while paying high attention to quality and detail, kept everything clean, and were friendly folks. It was one of the smoothest installation experiences that I've had. Lastly, Einar Johanson also stands by the quality of their projects. Out of nine windows, eight operate perfectly, and one is hard-cranking because of friction inside of the crank handle, and a glass unit had some defects, both manufacturer issues that reasonably went by unnoticed until installed. While the windows technically still worked and could still be operated and it was a manufacturer issue, once Einar Johanson verified the problem, they reordered new hardware and a new glass unit to resolve the problem. This showed that they will follow through in order to ensure high quality on their projects. I plan on working with Einar Johanson again when I will replace the remaining six windows and two exterior doors next year.

We had Einar Johanson replace the insulated glass in quite a few windows, and completely replace some other windows. This entailed several visits, as the replacement windows were delayed from the manufacturer. Every time, they carefully laid protection for the carpets and floors, worked carefully, and left the site immaculate when they were done. Crew was friendly, and the two leads, Ian and David went far and above expectations in assuring that everything was done to our total satisfaction. I highly recommend this company

I chose Einar Johanson to replace 8 windows in my home. I have a 1955 rambler with some very large picture windows, all old single-pane aluminum frames. My goals were to preserve the low profile of our large, south-facing windows, increase energy efficiency, and increase airflow with some new openings. From the get-go, working with Earl was really straightforward and not overly sales-y. We talked through the construction process, different window brands and product lines, what to expect, and a quote was delivered to me a day later. The price was not the cheapest, nor the most expensive, for the same windows across a few other companies. I am happy to pay for quality work, and so we proceeded with Einar. I worked with Heather to sign contracts and kick off the process of ordering windows. She was always super friendly and willing to answer my questions over the phone. Once the windows were ready (about 1 month later) she and John helped set a date for installation. Installation took two days. The crew (Mark, Davyd, & Sage) were super friendly, professional, fun, and very respectful of our house and keeping everything clean. They allowed me to lurk and ask questions as they went, which made me feel comfortable throughout the day as they were in and out of the house. My partner and I work from home with a big dog, so installation was going to be disruptive no matter what, but the crew was super flexible and we only had to move between rooms once over the two-day install process. There were a couple very minor issues with caulking and drywall that the crew promptly fixed during the second install day. Overall, I couldn't be happier with choosing Einar Johanson for our window installation. Our house is quieter, warmer, and cleaner than before. They will get our business again in the future! (note: photos are all prior to painting the new trim, what you see is the new primed cedar trim around the windows. You can paint this whatever color you want)

We just replaced all of our original aluminum windows, sliding glass door, and side door through Einar Johanson in our 1954 home. From start to finish, the team was communicative, professional, and insightful. The work crew was kind and friendly, and checked in with us often to let us know if there were any changes to the original plan and how things went. We were quoted 6-8 weeks, and our install started right at the 6 week mark, which was a pleasant surprise after hearing so much about delays with other companies.
