I recently had the pleasure of working with the air conditioning company to install a new unit in my apartment, and I must say, the service was excellent! From the initial consultation to the final installation, every step was handled with professionalism and efficiency. The team arrived promptly and was incredibly knowledgeable, answering all of my questions and addressing any concerns I had. They worked diligently to ensure the installation was done correctly and even took the time to clean up after themselves. Not only am I extremely satisfied with the quality of their work, but I am also impressed by their customer service. They were friendly, courteous, and went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. I am delighted with my new air conditioning unit and would highly recommend this company to anyone in need of their services. I will definitely be using them again in the future. I purchased a heat pump from Southland Heating and Air four months ago and have been extremely satisfied with the service I received. Before the purchase, Dave was great in answering all my questions (over several days!) and helping me choose the right system for my needs. The quote I received from them was extremely competitive; in fact, it was considerably under several other companies I met with. The installation process was quick and professional. I'm thrilled with my new heat pump and highly recommend Southland!

Great service by a great team. I initially signed up for the tuneup special but two days before my appointment my furnace started acting weird. So they arranged that I would either have a service call if they fix some thing or a tuneup checklist if they didn’t instead of charging me for both. After a new filter was put in the problem went away! I love these guys. On time efficient polite can’t say enough.

I have been a regular customer of SH&A for a long time and continue to be very happy with their service. They have shown to be a company that can be trusted and are honest clean and friendly. They explain what they find if there are issues. They also respectful and courteous. They are my 'go to' heating and air conditioning company. Chris and Mike are the best.

Great Price & Exceptional Service March 19, 2024 My heating unit wasn't functioning as it should. Hot air wasn't coming out of the vents and the unit was making a strange sound. I called my normal HVAC company and they sent a technician who said my blower motor wasn't working and the major bracket holding the huge heavy motor wheel was cracked. They took my old motor to a shop to see if it could be repaired. It couldn't be repaired so they gave me a price to replace the blower motor and bracket. I wanted to compare pricing from other companies. I called Southland as they had serviced this unit in 2015...their sticker was on the unit. I told Erick from Southland what the problem was. He stated the wheel was too heavy and after years of use it caused the bracket to crack causing the problem with the blower. I needed not just the blower motor and bracket but a new wheel as well. Plus a new capacitor in addition. And the complete price was much less than my normal HVAC company and that price included the blower motor, the bracket, and in addition a new capacitor along with a new wheel, AND a four times longer labor warranty. I gave them my OK and a few days later Technition Michael came out and did a perfect installation. He also made sure my Nest Thermostat was up and running properly. I couldn't be happier. The technician, Carlos was professional yet friendly. He bought protective booties to wear while inside my home. He checked every dispite having to cross over 4 walls outside to reach the unite on the roof. He finished in less than 15 and gave the working unit a thumbs up for working perfectly. I am very happy with the service.

Southland initially installed my Nest thermostat. When my my heater broke and my regular HVAC guy was unavailable, I called Southland. They recommended switching to an electric system as natural gas prices were rapidly rising, and took care of all the rebates I was entitled to so the cost was almost 1/2 price. Then, I needed to move the location of my a/c. In order to not invalidate the warranty, I called Southland for the move. The employees and owner, are extremely helpful and nice, and make every effort to work with you. Although probably not the cheapest around, they do stand behind their work and I've been very happy with them. They continue to maintain my unit and have become my new go-to!

From our initial estimate with Ray, through installation and final inspections with David, everything was just as promised. We couldn’t be happier with the professionalism and honesty of everyone we worked with at Southland. We are enjoying our new, whisper quiet and efficient heating system! We highly recommend them.
