David was friendly and helpful. While the news of needing to replace my system was not pleasant, he was able to explain the issue currently going on. He did not pressure or push me into anything and seems to be very genuine and honest.

Response from the owner

Thank you for the great review, Destinee!

My experienced with Rendon Heating was like a see-saw event, but good. Parts needed was not available after 2 weeks. Job was done eventually by Anthony whose knowledge about HVAC is better than average, short of excellence.

Professional and respectful. This guy clearly knows his trade and was able to get us taken care of quickly at just under what some of the other local guys quoted us. I also appreciate he’s a veteran. I would recommend them and use them again!

Rendon Heating & Air has helped us with several of our properties. David is always kind, professional, and walks us through everything that needs to be done. Their pricing is very competitive and they are always quick to respond with a quote and complete the job. We had a full system replaced on an 4,000sqft home and then our condo rental with Rendon H/A. Even when we hit another problem, David personally came out to fix it. We have had terrible experiences and overpricing with others, but are so happy to have found this company. We have referred them to several others and all have been pleased. If you have any HVAC needs, these are your guys.

Rendon Heating and Air is the best business i have ever seen. I needed a full AC and furnace replacement, and David helped me through all of it. The replacement was responsibly priced, and way cheaper than other businesses. David was very knowledgeable and was on time. I will definitely book with Rendon Heating and Air again. Thank you!

Response from the owner

Thank you, Reese! Glad we could provide a great service!

Rendon was assigned to my AC repair by Fidelity Home Warranty. They said Rendon would contact me within 1-2 business days. Rendon did not and I called at least 5 times at different times of two days and only reached voicemail. David finally called the evening of the third day and said they’d be there the following day. He did show up as scheduled, looked at it and told me he’d have to come back the next day to pressure check it as he didn’t have enough time that day. When he returned the next day he pressure checked it and couldn’t find any leak, although he said he could do a 24 hour check on it if the warranty company approved. According to him they did not approve that and instructed him to just service it. It worked for just over 3 months, although it may have started leaking sooner and I didn’t notice it. I called and messaged David multiple times with no response, as I wanted him to contact the warranty company to explain it had leaked after he recommended a longer pressure check. Since he is forever unreachable I contacted the warranty company. Unfortunately for me, their policy is that no cases can be recalled after 90 days. And they have no record of David ever recommending the longer pressure check. So I am forced to pay another service call fee now. Thanks for your treatment of a fellow veteran David Rendon! Try answering and/or returning calls like a legitimate business owner!

Doug- As always there are 2 sides to every situation. When you are working with a home warranty there are always significant delays. When Fidelity says the customer will be contacted in 1-2 business days this cannot always occur as the work order is not always sent out when they say they’re going to send it out. Additionally, we do not work for the home warranties on weekends therefore that can add an additional delays. According to our records you were contacted and scheduled within the 2 day timeframe. Again, working with a home warranty, we MUST receive authorization and follow THEIR guidelines. We could not perform the leak check the same day as we did not yet have authorization (it wasn’t that we did not have enough time in our day). After getting authorization, we performed a leak check and no leak was identified. We submitted a request to Fidelity to perform a 24 hour pressure tests however this was not approved by Fidelity. Fidelity then advised our company to charge your unit. The initial work order was submitted in April, additional problems could have occurred within that span of time (April to August). Any additional problems (after 30 days), would then need to be submitted to Fidelity, and they would then contact us. You appeared pleased with our service and even asked if we could perform additional repairs at your home (repairing a water shutoff valve), however this was out of our scope of work. We apologize that we missed your phone call as you contacted our company over the weekend, which is outside of our business hours for home warranties.

5 full stars!!! After 32 with our old HVAC system, we are delighted to have chosen David Rendon and his company to replace our two heating and air conditioning systems, one for our upstairs, and one for our downstairs (big house!). We knew our replacement would be in the $20-40K range, so we got 4 bids, including Costco's, and Rendon's bid was the lowest, cheaper than the highest bid by over $10K. Our resulted work from Rendon was 1st rate, professional, high quality equipment and smooth installation. They spent time to do the right thing with details like running wires through the walls so it would look perfect. Thank you Rendon Heating and Cooling! Highly recommended!
