Excellent follow up service. They
installed a new sump pump ( which
was pricey) a couple months ago. I began to notice a thud sound when it shut off and a spray of water. I called around 930 and they had a technician out here at 1100. He replaced a bad check valve, no charge. Maybe I was lucky and called at the right time but you really can't beat that service!

CT Dry Basement installed two sump pumps with battery back-up and subsurface trenches along the inside walls of our basement. The crew was most professional and the work was top shelf. They cleaned up after finishing and you wouldn't know that they had been there. Excellent job!!

On 12/18/23, my town got roughly 5 inches of rain. Well, the following morning I awake to discover that my basement had flooded. After freaking out for a few minutes I got to work getting the water out(small submersible pump and shop vacs). It was after we got almost all of the water up that the true problem was found, ground water was still coming up through a crack in the floor. I knew at this point I needed help.
So I started making phones calls to any company I thought could help. Unfortunately every call was the same, a quick no or just a voicemail. Ironically, it took my older sister, who happens to live in Germany, to find CT Dry Basements information. By the time I called them I was in a panic and will admit to be crying. They were understanding and had a tech out to my home within 2 hours to assess the situation.
From the moment Chris arrived he was polite and empathetic to my situation. Rather than upselling me on something that was not absolutely needed, he was able to get the original price down by almost $500, with less than a week to Christmas, this was very helpful! The sub pump was able to be installed the very next morning!
I cannot express how truly grateful I am to CT Dry Basements for being there when I needed them! Thank you so much!

BUYER BEWARE.
PLEASE READ BEFORE HIRING.
I PLAN TO REMOVE THIS POST ONCE THEY REFUND ME FOR SERVICES PROMISED AND NOT RENDERED. THEY NOT ONLY NOT FINISHED THE WORK THEY LEFT PIPES OF PUMPS OUT IN THE OPEN AND RUINED DRIVEWAY AND FLOODED OUR YARD. CHRIS DOMRAD DIDNT WANT TO TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY AND HIS BOSS RICHARD TAYLOR IGNORED US WHEN THE ISSUE CAME TO HIM.
ANYONE HIRING CAN EMAIL ME TO PROVE THIS ISSUE.
We hired CT dry basements to do work on our basement that had previously flooded. It took them months before being able to come to our property. they were very fast at making a contract and promising our basement would never flood again. We were quoted this outrages price but we accepted due to the circumstances. Once they came to the property , They came and worked for 5 days straight. They assured us our basement would be left “as is”. Meaning everything they moved they would put back and clean after themselves. They left on the last day and our basement was filthy and nothing was put back “as is”. The discharge lines they installed were left above the ground and we were told they would come back to bury these lines in at another time. They never contacted us again. We began contacting them to schedule and they said they would let us know. After several times emailing and asking them to come bury the pipes because there was an excessive amount of water flooding out of the pipes and it was causing damaged to our property and driveway.ñ, they continued to say they were too busy and we’re going to come when possible. We continued to express the urgency for not just several weeks but months. When they finally arrived to bury the pvc pipes they left exposed they said they couldnt do it because they didn’t count on burning them to begin with. They only wanted take them out 15’ away from the house (in which case the sump pumps would just be recycling the same water over and over again). They originally promised to make sure water would be pushed away from the property. That would be far away from 15 feet. We expressed that they needed to be buried further out and they suggested we hire someone else to do that. Therefore the job was left INCOMPLETE and damaged our property. After we sent photos and videos of the water damage caused by the pipes being left above the ground they refused to take responsibility or accountability and continued to blame us for their carelessness. They were unprofessional and unreliable. There were several times where Chris & Rich were unable to be reached, didn’t call us back and completely ignored us. Many emails were sent. We are writing this review so others don’t fall for their scheme. All they want is money and don’t back up their work. One of the pumps they installed blew out and the basement reflooded. Please be aware. We needed up paying twice as much to repair damages they created.

After recieveing a number of quotes to have my crawlspace cleaned out and encapsulated, I decided to go with Connecticut Dry Basements. I did so based on price, reviews and the fact that Rich, who came out to quote the work, was straightforward, priced out only what I asked for and made no attempt to upsell me. After having the work done I feel confident that I made the right choice. Jorge, the crew leader, was fast, responsive and really went the extra mile. The space is now clean, sealed, free of mold and after last night's rain storm, still completely dry. I cannot recommend Connecticut Dry Basements enough!

When our sump pump quit working last Thursday, I called Connecticut Dry Basements and left a message. They got back to me right away and had someone out the next day to replace it. This is the second time I have worked with this company and each time I have been very impressed by their professionalism and also by how quickly they have helped me out. They have also never tried to sell me something I don't need!

I had a few companies come out and give me estimates. Certain companies had a full proof, apocalyptic preparedness system that cost astronomical amounts of money, while this one was the most realistic. CT dry basements (also affiliated with a Massachusetts company) offered a system that would do the job without anything fancy or overpriced. Two cast iron pumps, new piping, and they hooked in one of my downspouts. They were very professional, and we're in and out of my house in a little under 4 hrs

Rich and his crew were great to deal with! And their quote came in less than competitors in the area, which I was very happy with. CT Dry Basements was very timely in their email and phone call correspondence. They were very prompt in responding for a quote and setting up the construction date. Construction took less than a day. I was very happy with the results of the sump pump and perimeter drain installation. We immediately saw results in our basement. I would definitely recommend using CT Dry Basements over their competitors in the future. Thanks again guys!
